On the longest day of the year, June 21, we celebrate music, joie de vivre and the summer solstice with you!
The idea behind the Fête de la Musique, which goes back to the initiative of the then French Minister of Culture Jack Lang in 1981, is to welcome the summer together with musicians in public spaces. This is also the case on the grounds of Berlin's Kulturbrauerei.
At the final Fête event in the Kesselhaus, we will be presenting new sounds and innovative music from France from 11 pm. This year, the pop duo Charlotte Fever and electro musician Airmow will be performing. As always, admission is free.
And this year, the Fête de la Musique will be even more special: from 9 pm, you can watch the France v Netherlands match live on the big screen at the large public viewing event in the Kulturbrauerei courtyard. Afterwards, we'll all meet up next door at the French Night in the Kesselhaus.
Nous aimons la musique! Let's celebrate this day of music and life together!
CHARLOTTE FEVER<br>
The spirited French pop duo Charlotte Fever has been touring the globe for years, defying everyday life with sparkling costumes and tropical grooves. After shows in Taipei, Tokyo and Seoul, a sold-out show in Paris and a marathon tour with dates in France, of course, but also in Estonia, Latvia, Andorra, Spain, Austria and the Czech Republic, Cassandra and Alexandre will be on the road again this summer. True to the fiery and witty aesthetic that has already won over as the soundtrack to the Netflix show "Emily in Paris", Charlotte Fever released her debut album "Paris cyclone" in November 2023. Influences range from Sébastien Tellier and Niagara to the Australian rock of Tame Impala; make sure you don't forget the sunscreen!
