Marlon Hammer is undoubtedly one of the most exciting pop newcomers of his generation: with his authentic, handmade songs and his attention to detail, which he himself describes as "old-fashioned", Marlon Hammer embodies a refreshing mix of tradition and modernity.
The exceptional talent with the characteristic voice already has over 90,000 fans on the TikTok platform, more than 20,000 follow him on Instagram and his single "Angenehm Kühl" has broken through the 1 million streams mark on Spotify. In September 2024, Marlon wowed audiences with his single "Zu Dir Fällt Mir Nichts Mehr Ein" on the VOX primetime TV show "The Piano". He has already impressively demonstrated his extraordinary flair for catchy hooks with that certain something on previous singles.
Multi-talented Marlon sings, plays guitar and piano, writes his own music and lyrics and creates outstanding songs for which you will search in vain for reference points in the German-speaking music scene. "I started making street music at a really young age - and the funny thing is: to this day, the street is the place where I get the most excited," admits Marlon about his beginnings in the pedestrian zone, where he successfully supplemented his pocket money at an early age. Since then, he has worked intensively on his vision and his sound, unwaveringly pursuing his own individual path, and today Marlon Hammer, inevitably in the tradition of Herbert Grönemeyer, brings his very own style to the German music scene. The tongue-in-cheek title of his first EP "Bochum 2" is proof of this: "It's about the new generation of someone who thinks about his lyrics," explains Marlon. Together with renowned producer Moses Schneider, he created a collection of four songs that sound handmade and raw, but still show every facet of his songwriting skills.
After the successful release of "Bochum 2", Marlon Hammer is now ready for the next big chapter: His first debut album "Szenarien" will be released in spring 2025. To accompany this, he will be going on a "Szenarien" tour, which will take him to Cologne, Berlin, Hamburg and, of course, his hometown of Bochum.
