It has already been twenty years since the art rock formation RPWL from Freising in Bavaria set out to release their most successful and - if many critics are to be believed - their best album to date: "World Through My Eyes" from 2005.
Not a concept album in the true sense of the word, but full of philosophical questions and wonderful approaches to life and various world views. Many of the songs on this album have become classics for the band, especially "Roses", which RAY WILSON performed magnificently as a guest singer in the studio version. It brings back memories of their wonderful joint performance on WDR's "Rockpalast".
There's no need to say a word about RPWL's live qualities. The now seven-piece band tours almost constantly and has gained a huge and loyal following worldwide. Their last studio album "Crime Scene" conquered many chat placements, in Germany the album even reached number 18.
The focus of the upcoming tour will of course be on "World Through My Eyes", but other highlights from the band's diverse and exciting discography will not be missing either.
