Berlin-based indie folk duo SCOTT&LILA release their self-titled debut album.<br>
SCOTT & LILA are an indie-folk duo from Berlin, consisting of songwriters Scott Hildebrand from Chicago and Lila Despoix from Paris. The duo met five years ago at Scott's street gigs when he first moved to Berlin. Lila spontaneously joined him on the mic and over the next few years they wrote and recorded music while on their "endless world tour". This September they will release their self-titled debut album with 17 songs written and recorded in Sri Lanka, South Korea, the USA and in their creative home of Berlin.
These songs are a representation of their diverse songwriting combined with synergistic vocal harmonies brought to life through their deep connection to each other and the road.
The recordings were primarily done live, with drums, bass, guitar and vocals recorded simultaneously to preserve the truthfulness of the music that resonates with the lyrical content of truth, self-discovery and love.
