Germany's first international grime convention will take place on June 13 at the Maschinenhaus der Kulturbrauerei in Berlin!
Since the emergence of grime artists such as Skepta and Stormzy, this style of music originating in the United Kingdom has developed into a worldwide phenomenon that has significantly influenced the youth of the twentieth century. On June 13, Berlin will become the international hotspot of this movement when a variety of Brazilian, French, English and German grime MCs come together.
A special highlight of the event will be the unreleased grime set by German artist 2LADE, who will thrill the audience with his unique sound. Paul Stephan and Wilfried, who are currently leading the mellow grime scene (soul/jazz grime) in London, will be traveling from the UK. France will be represented by Enzo from the Block, who also has a large fan base in Brazil. Also taking part is the well-known Swiss MC Di-Meh, who is known for his rousing live performances.
Five sets, five languages, one culture! The Grime Convention in Berlin promises to be a unique experience that celebrates the diversity and cultural significance of this music genre in an impressive way.
