"Rock'n'roll is definitely not for old people, that's official. I guess our secret is that we're actually still kids." - Lemmy Kilmister
Lemmy Kilmister, frontman of the heavy metal band Motörhead, passed away on December 28, 2015. The surviving band members demand: "Play Motörhead loud, play Hawkwind loud, play Lemmy's music LOUD. Raise one to him, or several. Tell each other stories. Celebrate life the way this lovely, wonderful man celebrated it so fiercely himself. This is exactly how he would have wanted it." And that's what we're doing again on 28.12.24 in the Kesselhaus at the KulturBrauerei.
To mark the 9th anniversary of Lemmy Kilmister's death, there will once again be a good dose of rock'n'roll in the KulturBrauerei's Kesselhaus on 28.12.24. This will be provided by the bands: Motörblast & 667
Motörblast is concentrated Motörhead power since 2006!!!
Not just covers, but the music and show of Lemmy and his boys - in memory of the Motörhead frontman - celebrated down to the last detail! Dr. Ape, our German "Lemmy", plays the same legendary bass sound! He resembles Lemmy's twin with the congenital wart. CAUTION the danger of confusion is very high!!!
"Has Lemmy been resurrected?" some people will ask themselves here!
The frontman has already been used as a double at the Wacken Festival, where he presented the wine and beer range to the party-hungry fans.
The guys' setlist reads like a greatest hits show and includes songs from the early Motörhead era (Bomber) as well as the infernal trio's latest rockers. What is on offer is a total Motörhead illusion, a rock show in the Xtra class. Motörblast is now a permanent institution when it comes to tributes to Motörhead. Internationally successful acts such as JBO, Pro Pain, Motorjesus, Regner, Zakk Wylde and many more have been supported. Well-known clubs such as the Colos Saal in Aschaffenburg, Z7 in Pratteln (Switzerland) and the Graspop Festival (Belgium) were also on the program.
MOTÖRBLAST is concentrated Motörhead power at the highest level, a rock show of the x.tra class.
