Glennville native KATELYN TARVER moved to Los Angeles at age 19 to pursue a career in entertainment. After making her television debut on Nickelodeon's "Big Time Rush," she began releasing her music independently while writing songs for other artists:inside. In 2014, she got her big break as co-writer of Cheryl Cole's number one single "Crazy Stupid Love."
KATELYN TARVER made her debut as an artist in 2017 with the single "Weekend Millionaires," a well-received song that later appeared on her EP Tired Eyes. Tired Eyes was co-written with acclaimed producer Ludwig Göransson (HAIM, Childish Gambino, Alicia Keys) and also features "You Don't Know," a heartfelt ballad whose viral live video has racked up over 55 million views to date.
Following the release of her acclaimed EP Kool Aid in 2018, the multi-talented artist starred alongside Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in the fourth season of HBO's "Ballers." On her first album Subject to Change, released in November 2021, the artist began a new era in her musical evolution, infusing her sophisticated self-reflection with a beautifully nuanced sound. This is reflected in her single "What Makes A Life Good?" released in April 2023.
