Bissett's Supernova Tour - his first-ever headline tour - kicks off Oct. 13 with a sold-out show at the Voodoo Room in San Diego. The North American tour, which will feature special guest Anna Shoemaker, is already 90% sold out. See below for the full itinerary or visit https://www.aidanbissett.com/tour/.
Supernova comes exactly one year after the release of Bissett's debut EP, I'm Alright if You're OK, which was praised by Atwood Magazine as "fun, fiery and heartbreaking." In addition to "Ultraviolet," Supernova will include three more new tracks as well as "Out Of My League," "Bloom" and "Sick," which were released earlier this year. Ones To Watch praises "Sick" as "a track that walks the thematic tightrope between a sweaty New York underground club and a radio-ready indie pop anthem," noting, "Bissett opens with the effortlessly cool voice of an early Julian Casablancas, blending the indie rock charm of the Strokes with his own feverish voice to create an irresistible cocktail of overflowing emotion."
