For 15 years now, the Festival Jazzdor has been building the artistic bridge between France and Germany!
For the team around Philippe Ochem, jazz means openness: they don't care about geographical and aesthetic borders and only want one thing: to share with the audience what excites them at the moment, to promote unexpected encounters, to make the heartbeat of jazz of today audible and tangible.
So set off, by bike, streetcar or on foot,
leisurely or at a run, however you like, come and let yourself in for the listening pleasures of the Festival Jazzdor Berlin!
Tuesday, June 6

O.U.R.S
<br>Clément Janinet violin | Hugues Mayot tenor saxophone, bass clarinet | Joachim Florent double bass | Emmanuel Scarpa drums, vibraphone
<br> GERMANY PREMIERE<br>
The enigmatic and rhythmic-dance name says it all: O.U.R.S. stands for "Ornette Under the Repetitive Skies." Indeed, violinist and composer Clément Janinet links with a virtuoso hand glowing free jazz in the style of Ornette Coleman with the repetitive music à la Steve Reich.
CHRISTOPHE MONNIOT
<br>"SIX MIGRANT PIECES"
<br>Christophe Monniot saxophone | Aymeric Avice trumpet | Nguyen Le guitar | Jozef Dumoulin piano | Bruno Chevillon double bass | Franck Vaillant drums
<br>Behind the name " Six Migrant Pieces " are six compositions by Christophe Monniot, written for the six members of his new band: six internationally recognized musicians, from very different backgrounds, on very different paths that nevertheless crossed at some point in cosmopolitan Paris. <br>
