Due to high demand, the Nation of Language show will be moved to Astra. Tickets already purchased for the Kesselhaus remain valid and do not need to be exchanged.
New York band Nation of Language is touring Germany and has attracted a growing international audience with their danceable and passionate interpretation of new wave and post-punk traditions. Their hopeful music - marked by soaring melodies, flashing synth lines and frontman Ian Devaney's towering voice - is a bright spot in a time of fear, cynicism, hate and snideness.
While their sound and songwriting have evolved over three albums, the band's fervent style has also grown into a distinctive quality of the movement, earning the band major accolades from NME, Rough Trade, Pitchfork, Clash and countless others. 2023 will see the release of their third long player "Strange Disciple", having already performed at Pitchfork Festival, Primavera Sound and Outside Lands, and preparing for the band's biggest headline tour to date.
