Signed to Warner Music Nashville, singer/songwriter RANDALL KING is one of the modern traditionalists of the country music scene. He grew up in the endless expanses of the "Lone Star State" of Texas and his sound is steeped in its timeless beauty, both gritty and graceful. He began singing in the backseat of a '93 Chevy Suburban, initially imitating the vocals of country stars like Keith Whitley, George Strait, Alan Jackson and John Anderson. Over the years, he was drawn to the electrifying energy of modern artists like Eric Church, Dierks Bentley and Jason Aldean.
After years of working and touring, sometimes playing more than 150 shows a year, he produced and released the EP "Another Bullet" in 2016 and followed it up with his self-titled album "RANDALL KING" in 2018. Country music legend Garth Brooks is a self-confessed fan and predicted a great future for him that same year, "Guys, I'm going to tell you right now. This boy right here. RANDALL KING. All I can say is: great guy, a hell of a songwriter... This kid, to me, is what country music is all about. RANDALL KING." Four years later, he brings an organic, timeless sound to mainstream country with his major-label debut album, "Shot Glass," produced by Bart Butler and Ryan Gore (Jon Pardi). Described by Saving Country Music as "no one is more traditional when it comes to the new mainstream country," RANDALL KING co-wrote seven of the eleven songs, awakening his songwriting qualities. The album is about a night in a bar, with each song representing a unique perspective of each person present. To accompany the first single, "You in a Honky Tonk," RANDALL released a video that provides a good starting point for those who have not yet come into contact with him and his art. It was brought to life by director Brooke Greenberg after the song had already reached millions of listeners.
With more than 120 million streams, the artist dubbed "Country Artist To Watch 2022" by Pandora and Country Now looks to a musical future that captures the essence of a Western poet who was never afraid to be himself. A native of Texas, KING impresses with a tradition-rich "honky tonk sound" and songwriting marked by honesty, conviction and authenticity. He appeals to his fans on all emotional levels. Now RANDALL KING comes to Germany for four concerts as part of "Sound of Nashville".
