In the U.S., they are already playing sold-out venues. In this country, The Band CAMINO can still be experienced in an intimate setting when they come to Germany for a handful of club dates in May.Memphis, Tennessee is known as the home of genres steeped in history, such as blues, country and hip-hop. A brand new, fresh sound originated in the city of 600,000 souls in the southeastern U.S.: In 2015, The Band CAMINO was formed here - a group of students who soon caused a national stir with their blend of indie rock and electro-pop.
Within three years, the band releases just as many EPs: "My Thoughts On You" (2016), "Heaven" (2017) and "tryhard" (2019) - that's all The Band CAMINO needs to complete their first headline tours and earn a loyal fanbase. Especially their third EP "tryhard" turns out to be groundbreaking and shows the potential of the newcomers to become the next stadium rock sensation. While working on it, the musicians move together to the "Music City" Nashville, almost 400 kilometers away, which only further inspires their creativity and ambitions.
Six years after their formation, The Band CAMINO 2021 releases their eponymous debut album. The trio, consisting of singers and guitarists Jeffery Jordan and Spencer Stewart as well as drummer Garrison Burgess, show their entire stylistic range here - from the ballad "Help Me Get Over You" to the dancefloor smasher "I Think I Like You" to singalong anthems like "Know It All".No matter how loud or quiet, sad or happy the band is: every one of their songs is a rousing earworm. The Band CAMINO proves this at their own sold-out headline shows.
After their first European excursion in early 2020, The Band CAMINO will return to Germany for the first time in May 2023 with their current album. And one thing is clear: Whether arena or club - the trio will make sure that no one in the audience can keep their feet still.
