Post-hardcore? Metalcore? Hard rock? Screamo? Emo? The answer in all cases is "yes" or simply ESCAPE THE FATE. The troupe successfully mixes in all genres and combines them with power and pop to a powerful, melodic and above all distinctive sound. Only ESCAPE THE FATE sound like ESCAPE THE FATE!
And fortunately the Yanks not only regularly disprove categorizations, but now also again the old adage "What happens in Las Vegas, stays in Las Vegas". After far too long abstinence from European stages, the quintet around singer Craig Mabitt finally comes back to Germany for shows this June.
Since their formation in 2004, ESCAPE THE FATE have really shaken up the scene and the genres. The creative "noisemakers" have released seven longplayers to date. The last intense innovation "Chemical Warfare" only recently.
Especially live it goes off with the hard and harmonic rockers quite well. You can feel and sense the years of live experience at every second. Early in their career, they were able to learn from and with the best by touring together. After winning a 2005 band competition where My Chemical Romance was on the jury, they also went on tour with them. Thumbs up from My Chemical Romance already at the beginning and long thumbs up from fans worldwide. Or rather the fists up, because to strong songs like "Not Good Enough For Truth In Cliché", "Situations", "The Flood" or "Broken Heart" you can tear them up wonderfully towards the stage and shake them to the tearing riffs.
Even more so as Craig Mabbitt, Robert Ortiz, Matti Hoffman, Erik Jensen and TJ Bell focus on their epochal debut at their upcoming shows
With the single "H8 My Self," the band from the gambler's town has just shown once again that they still know where the "rock bunny" runs and how to roll the dice and rock. This number will definitely be played here in June together with all the cool classics.
Once again ESCAPE THE FATE will bring modernity, emotionality and pure energy on stage!
So all you emos, hard rockers, metallers and hardcorers be warned: ESCAPE THE FATE are back.
