It is winter. Nature goes to rest. The long evenings sound sagas and stories. Good and evil spirits appear in them, and those who allow it, meet themselves in the heart of silence. There it flows, a spring bubbles. It drives the cycle of life over and over again.

People call the area „winter breath“. Here, on the eastern edge of the Odenwald, where Alexander Kilian and Jan Pascal have their home and find sounds together, the spheres sound wonderfully calm.

Surrounded by mystical silence, a new light appears very quietly and delicately in the longest night.

Café del Mundo are considered Germany's most successful guitar export. in 2007, Jan Pascal and Alexander Kilian met at a workshop. Awards and an inspired collaboration follow. International concert invitations grace the path of the two guitarists, who are nominated for the Opus Klassik in 2019 in the category Classical Music without Borders.

The band name derives from a concert review in which a critic writes that he feels transported to the legendary „Café Cantante“. This becomes „Café del Mundo“, a musical place of encounter.
